Sarah Gillespie Quintet Album Launch

Learn why they call it the blues with singer-songwriter Sarah Gillespie’s incisive lyrics and jazz-tinged tunes as she launches her new album, Wishbones, at this concert.

At this debut performance of her fourth album, the Anglo-American songstress is joined on stage by a special guest, Mercury-nominated trumpeter Laura Jurd.

The album follows the success of Gillespie’s 2017 poetry collection, Queen Ithaca Blues, and, alongside Jurd, features pianist Kit Downes, drummer James Maddren, guitarist Chris Montague and bass player Ruth Goller.

Support comes from punk-folk bard Ally Craig.
