Maureen Lipman Is 'Up for It'

Part of Winter

Read her lips: an evening of rave, rollick and rant from actor, writer and comedian Maureen Lipman, with music from Jacqui Dankworth and Charlie Wood.

After a career that encompasses thirty odd – sometimes very odd – West End plays, together with TV, radio, films, books, magazine columns and BT ads, Lipman returns to stand-up with Up for It, a smash sell-out hit at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

The new queen of Coronation Street is keen to frighten herself into retirement by facing her fans, over the edge of a stage, in her very own show.

Lipman has a way with words and how to deliver them ... warmly comic and pin-sharp
Serious five-star brilliance!
