Entering through Queen Elizabeth Hall Artists’ Entrance, audiences follow in the footsteps of legendary artists who performed on these stages at the start of their careers in the swinging 60s, with a soundscape roll call from Pink Floyd to Cleo Laine and Daniel Barenboim.
After collecting stage passes, visitors are given rare backstage access, travelling through the working Scene Dock, visiting the Artists’ Lounge, experiencing pre-concert jitters in the dressing rooms and ending on a surprise finale.
Concrete Dreams Exhibition is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, thanks to National Lottery
players, and designed by innovative theatre company Klanghaus and design practice LYN
The exhibition runs to a timed tour schedule. Please arrive at the meeting point, next to Queen Elizabeth Hall Ticket Office, at least 10 minutes before your exhibition tour is due to begin. Anyone arriving after this time cannot be guaranteed entry to the exhibition.
Tours last approximately 70 minutes. Audiences are asked not to exit the immersive exhibition while the guided tour is taking place, due to the timed tour schedule and the experience of the rest of the group. Re-admittance is not possible.
Please note that stiletto heels are not suitable for this tour.
A maximum of 15 spaces are available on each time slot. A small number of tickets are held back each day for on-the-day sales and are available in person from the Queen Elizabeth Hall Ticket Office.

The exhibition tour is wheelchair accessible. We are also offering British Sign Language-interpreted (BSL) tours. Sign up to our Access Scheme to find out more.
