On average, two women a week in the UK are murdered by a partner or former partner, and half a million women are sexually assaulted or raped.
In this session we discuss why this abuse persists and how to end it. We also examine the extreme difficulties faced by refugees and the helplines available, with guest speakers who run these services.
Speakers include: Naomi Dickson – Chief Executive of Jewish Women’s Aid Pragna Patel – Director of Southall Black Sisters
Chaired by Rachel Krys, co-director of End Violence Against Women Coalition.
