Kingston Music Service: Rhythm Is the Word

This event has been rescheduled as we are currently closed due to the coronavirus crisis: all tickets are valid for the new date.

Get swept along by the power of rhythm in a concert created and performed by talented young people from the south-west London borough.

Join 900 performers from primary and secondary schools in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, accompanied by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

The performance features members of Kingston Music Service’s senior ensembles, and is directed by composer, arranger and educator Pete Churchill and narrated by Gary Palmer.

Celebrate the energy of young musicians on a melodic journey, with lyrics created and presented by the young performers.
