Mockumentary of a Contemporary Saviour by Ultima Vez

Journey into the distant future on a voyage of revelations in the latest work by innovative dance theatre makers Ultima Vez and Wim Vandekeybus.

Tough, brutal, playful and ironic, the work of Ultima Vez and Wim Vandekeybus churns the senses, plays with the mind and leaves a lasting impression.

In their latest show, a turning point in the history of mankind has been reached. A devastating force is destroying all life on earth. With the aid of a child, a few people have nonetheless succeeded in reaching a place of safety.

But life in this safe room is far from easy. The survivors are constantly at odds with one another. On top of all this is the fact that the chosen ones cannot escape life. Immortality prevails, and suicide doesn’t offer any way out.

Last seen at Southbank Centre in 2013, Ultima Vez make a welcome return to Queen Elizabeth Hall with the UK premiere of Mockumentary of a Contemporary Saviour.
