Their music has taken them from the club circuits of Northern Europe to the arenas and dive bars of America, from warehouses on the edge of Siberia to airstrips, jungles and all-nighters in the Far East and Australia.
Friends of Robert Smith, they joined The Cure on their tours of Europe and the US in 2008, and their 2010 album We Were Exploding Anyway featured Smith’s sampled vocals on the song ‘Come to Me’.
Their 2013 album Wild Light reintroduced a heavier guitar-driven sound and a new level of detail into their sound design.
After extensive touring, 65days went on to create the soundtrack album and ‘infinitely long’ (Wired) in-game score for galaxy-spanning phenomenon No Man’s Sky in 2016 – a procedural, open-universe space exploration video game with 18 quintillion planets.
In 2017, the band debuted an iteration of their latest project Decomposition Theory, which focuses on algorithmic composition.
