Shawn Colvin

Settle in for an acoustic evening with three-time Grammy Award winner Shawn Colvin.

Since her 1989 debut, the American singer-songwriter has released 12 albums, written a critically acclaimed memoir, maintained a non-stop touring schedule, appeared on countless television and radio programs, had her songs featured in major motion pictures and created a remarkable body of work.

In an era when female singer-songwriters are ever more ubiquitous, Shawn Colvin stands out as an enduring talent. Her songs are works of craft and catharsis that become lifetime companions for their listeners.

The musician was recognized for her career accomplishments with the Lifetime Achievement Trailblazer Award at The Americana Honors & Awards Show in 2016. Music legend Bonnie Raitt, who presented her with the prestigious honour, said of Colvin, ‘She’s simply one of the best singers I’ve ever heard – and a truly gifted and deep songwriter and guitarist.’

Support comes from Liverpudlian blues and country music singer-songwriter, Robert Vincent.
