Enjoy a cinematic concert experience of The Hunger Games (2013), presented for the first time in the UK with a full live orchestra.

The film is shown in HD, with a score played live by a symphony orchestra, bringing to life the film’s renowned and imposing soundtrack as never before.

Based on the wildly popular trilogy of young adult fiction books by Suzanne Collins, the film is set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future. It tells the story of Katniss Everdeen, a teenager who takes part in the Hunger Games, a televised competition in which the twelve districts of the country of Panem must choose two people at random to fight to the death.

The Hunger Games grossed $694 million (USD) worldwide, and features a breakout performance by Jennifer Lawrence. The star-studded cast also features Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones, and Donald Sutherland.

The score was composed by James Newton Howard, who has scored over 100 films and has been awarded a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, and eight Academy Award nominations for his work.
