Meet the authors of the 2018 Man Booker Prize for Fiction shortlist in an evening of readings and discussion.

The Man Booker Prize is a byword for the finest literary fiction, with its canon containing some of the greatest writers since 1969. A few days before the 2018 prize winner is unveiled on Tuesday 16 October, join this year’s shortlisted authors for an evening of readings and conversation around their novels.

The 2018 Man Booker Prize for Fiction shortlist:
Anna Burns (UK) – Milkman (Faber & Faber)
Esi Edugyan (Canada) – Washington Black (Serpent’s Tail)
Daisy Johnson (UK) – Everything Under (Jonathan Cape)
Rachel Kushner (USA) – The Mars Room (Jonathan Cape)
Richard Powers (USA) – The Overstory (William Heinemann)
Robin Robertson (UK) – The Long Take (Picador)

The evening is hosted by writer, columnist and playwright Damian Barr.

The 2018 Man Booker Prize for Fiction is chaired by Kwame Anthony Appiah and the judges are Val McDermid, Leo Robson, Jacqueline Rose, and Leanne Shapton.
