David Grossman won the Man Booker International Prize in 2017 for his novel A Horse Walks into a Bar and has published over 16 books. His writing has wrestled with the trauma of war, love, jealousy, and family relationships for more than three decades.

Grossman is one of Israel’s most celebrated writers and the winner of countless awards. He lives in Jerusalem.
