Africa Utopia Marketplace

Part of Africa Utopia

Come and browse our specially designed Africa Utopia Market which hosts a variety of stalls offering the latest in African-inspired fashion, children’s wear, accessories, books, art, homeware and workshops.

This year Africa Utopia Market also welcomes Africa Nouveau Festival Pop Up! The festival manifesto is Creativity, Connections, Innovation, Sustainability and New Pan-Africanism. Africa Nouveau ascribes to the ‘Afrobubblegum’ philosophy that states that African art can be fun, fierce and frivolous, with no other intended aim but to increase joy.

Africa Nouveau Pop Up will re-create the Live Fashion Shoot where festival attendees will be invited to participate, as well as host a Silent Disco. With support from British Council’s East Africa Arts programme.
