Join us as artist and academic Zach Blas and writer and editor Ben Eastham discuss the themes and ideas behind the latest Hayward Gallery exhibition.

Conversations from the Future is a talks programme that accompanies the exhibition Adapt to Survive: Notes from the Future at HENI Project Space, Hayward Gallery.

Zach Blas is an artist and academic who works across film, performance, text and installation. His practice broadly addresses the intersection of art, science and technology, what queer and feminist futurity can look like, and the evolution of language in digital culture.

Blas has exhibited, lectured and held screenings internationally, recently at the Gasworks, London; Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore; Whitechapel Gallery, London; and Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico City.

Ben Eastham is the Founding Editor of The White Review and Associate Editor of ArtReview. His writing on contemporary art and literature has featured in frieze magazine,The New York Times, The Financial Times, Mousse and The Times Literary Supplement amongst many other publications and journals.

He co-authored My Life as a Work of Art (2016) with Katya Tylevich and was Associate Editor of documenta 14.
