Pianist Luka Okros: Chopin & Liszt

Part of Classical Season 2018/19

Hear a selection of lyrical Romantic works played by London-based Georgian pianist Luka Okros.

Okros performs all four of Chopin’s complex, mercurial Ballades, followed by Liszt’s intensely dramatic Sonata in B minor.

At the age of 27, Okros has established himself as one of the most promising pianists of his generation. He has already won eight first prizes in top international piano competitions and performed in some of the world’s greatest concert halls – including Carnegie Hall, Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Liszt Academy.

Now here is a magnificent pianist
