WOW – Women of the World is a festival that celebrates women and girls, highlights their achievements and looks at the obstacles they still face across the world.
With talks and debates, music and performance, parties, a marketplace, networking and much more, the festival brings people together to speak about how they are making the world a fairer place and why it matters.
Exploring everything from body image to peacemaking, haircuts, sport, the arts, sex, race, food and love, festival attendees can expect joy, laughter, passion, insight and a chance to share your own stories.
Sessions take place at Southbank Centre and are open to all ages and all genders.
Each session starts with an introduction about what we hope WOW will achieve, followed by planning, discussion and debate. Tea and coffee is provided, and no preparation is required.
We encourage you to bring your friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, brother, child and/or granny and grandpa.
Everyone is welcome, and the more the merrier.
If there are individuals or groups you think should be there, please do let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Tickets are restricted to two per booker to allow a wide range of people to attend.
Please note that all our spaces are fully accessible.
