Hear intricate yet intuitive jazz from bass player, composer and arranger Misha Mullov-Abbado, who won the 2014 Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize, and his live band.

The Misha Mullov-Abbado Group is influenced by a broad spectrum of music in the classical, jazz and pop genres as well as folk traditions from around the world – particularly South America.

Mullov-Abbado has released two albums as a band leader and composer: Cross-Platform Interchange and New Ansonia, which was included in both The Telegraph’s and BBC Radio 3’s Best Jazz Albums of 2015.

An experienced band leader and a versatile sideman, Mullov-Abbado has performed at many of London’s top music venues. He won the 2014 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition and writes for various jazz groups as well as classical soloists and ensembles. He was named a 2017 BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and a 2014 City Music Foundation Artist.
