Sue Perkins

Part of London Literature Festival

Enjoy a rare chance to share an evening with Sue Perkins, packed full of crackling wit and dubious puns. Plus, join her legendary Q&A sessions where she answers all of your burning questions.*

Sue Perkins, the No.1 Sunday Times bestselling author of Spectacles, is here to celebrate the publication of her new travel memoir, sharing her extraordinary adventures from the Himalayas to Hong Kong, where she explores the tranquil Mekong River, the less tranquil streets of Varanasi and meets a selection of randy hermits and shamans. All tickets to this event include a hardback copy of Perkins’ new book (RRP £20.00), to be collected on the night.

Perkins is best known for being one quarter of double act Mel and Sue. She hosts Insert Name Here, Thronecast, as well as the travel documentaries The Mekong River with Sue Perkins, Kolkata with Sue Perkins and The Ganges with Sue Perkins.

She is a regular on Have I Got News for You, Just a Minute , and QI and has presented the British Academy Television Awards for the past two years. Oh, and there was that cake show on BBC1...

*She also answers questions unrelated to burning.
