Revolution, Past and Future Legacies: SI Leeds Prize For Women of Colour

Part of London Literature Festival

Reflect on women writers of colour and the presses that publish them at a panel discussion with Ellah Wakatama Allfrey and the SI Leeds Literary Prize shortlist.

The event features readings in response to the discussion, connecting emerging writing to past legacies. The event is chaired by Ellah Wakatama Allfrey, editor, critic, broadcaster and founding publishing director of The Indigo Press.

The SI Leeds Literary Prize is an award for unpublished fiction by UK-based black and Asian women aged 18 and above, which aims to act as a loudspeaker for fresh and original literary voices from an under-represented group and to help them reach new audiences.
