A Great Big Poetry Workshop

Part of London Literature Festival

Put pen to paper and express yourself in metre and rhyme at a workshop led by poets Joshua Seigal and Neal Zetter, inspired by their new poetry collection, Yuck and Yum: A Feast of Funny Food Poems.

All you need to bring is your imagination!

Joshua Seigal is an internationally acclaimed poet, performer and educator. His poetry books are published by Bloomsbury, and his collection I Don't Like Poetry was shortlisted for the 2017 Laugh Out Loud award. He has performed at places such as the Edinburgh Festival, the Cheltenham Literature Festival and the Bath Children's Literature Festival, and has visit schools all over the UK and beyond, including Belgium and Dubai.

Comedy performance poet, author and entertainer Neal Zetter has been making some kind of living from his poetry since 1989. During term-time you'll find him in primary or secondary schools running fun, engaging poetry writing and performance workshops.
His seven children's poetry books, one award-winning, are published by Troika. His latest book, Invasion of the Supervillains is a companion book to his Here Come the Superheroes.
