Gershwin Reimagined

Hear Troy Miller’s imaginative new arrangements of Gershwin’s classics, performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra with singers Laura Mvula and Shaun Escoffery.

The composer and producer marries electrifying solo voices with an orchestra to celebrate and reimagine some of the Gershwin songbook, including classics such as ‘Embraceable You’, ‘Summertime’ and ‘I Got Rhythm’.

Miller’s reimagining of Gershwin’s work has previously been presented with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, and the BBC Concert Orchestra, and was performed to open the The Royal Concertgebouw summer season.

Educated at the Guildhall School of Music, London, Miller has toured with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Donna Summer, Mark Ronson, Roy Ayers, Laura Mvula and Gregory Porter, and has produced music for Ayers, Mvula, and Porter.
