2018 Wrap Up

Part of Winter

Wrap up 2018 and 'sew' the seeds for 2019 with the AFRORETRO sisters and team at a crafting workshop, where you can create your own favour for the new year.

Reflect on 2018 and dream big for 2019. Sew yourself a lavender-infused New Year intention or create a beautiful textile postcard to send your 2019 wishes to your future self.

The AFRORETRO team help you master some hand sewing skills or guide you through textile collage techniques, leaving you with a great inspirational reminder of your hopes and intentions for 2019.

5.30pm – 6pm
Prepare to be challenged and positively moved as you experience the infectious creativity of Sherika Sherard. With a voice like velvet to deliver her robust persona, this artist never fails to warm the hearts of listeners.

6.15pm – 6.45pm
Fran Lobo is one of a kind. The London-based singer songwriter, producer, choral composer and sound artist is carving out a niche of her own, creating music that all at once manages to be ethereal, empowering and perfect for a sing-along. Join her for an intimate set on this day of reflection, where she premieres new material.
