Steve Williamson Trio & StringTing

Catch the legendary saxophonist as he performs with Steve Williamson Trio and young jazz string quartet StringTing to create a compelling musical experience. If you could listen to virtual reality, this is what it would sound like.

Williamson provides a journey into the sonic potential of music as a true art form that can change our state and make us feel better. Through his lifelong study of harmonics, Williamson creates music that soothes and heals as well as entertains, using primordial tones that speak directly to the essence of who we are, blending classical and jazz to create an entrancing, life-enhancing combination.

StringTing is a flagship ensemble from Tomorrow’s Warriors, the celebrated hothouse for young jazz talent in the UK. Mentored by acclaimed bassist and artistic director Gary Crosby OBE, StringTing are blazing a wide trail for women and strings in jazz. StringTing’s musicians are core players in the acclaimed Nu Civilisation Orchestra and are rising stars to watch, as they begin to make an indelible mark on the London jazz scene.

Produced by Tomorrow’s Warriors. Tomorrow’s Warriors is supported by Arts Council England and PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund for Organisations.
