The Man Booker International Prize is a byword for the finest fiction in translation, celebrating literature from all over the world.

The night before the 2019 prize winner is unveiled, join this year’s shortlisted authors and translators for an evening of readings in both English and the native languages of the books, and conversation around their books. Plus, a Q&A and book signing.

The winner is announced on Tuesday 21 May. The 2019 Man Booker International Prize is chaired by Bettany Hughes and the judges are Maureen Freely, Professor Angie Hobbs, Elnathan John and Pankaj Mishra.
