Phoebe Waller-Bridge - Fleabag: The Scriptures

Feeling bereft of the razor-sharp phenomenon that was Fleabag? Hear from the show's creator at a UK-exclusive event, where she talks to Deborah Frances-White.

This rare public appearance from Phoebe Waller-Bridge marks the publication of Fleabag: The Scriptures.

The book includes new writing from Waller-Bridge alongside the scripts and never-before-seen stage directions from the series.

One of the most critically acclaimed writers and performers of this generation, Waller-Bridge became a household name when her refreshing and original comedy Fleabag, which debuted as a one-woman play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013, was adapted and expanded by Waller-Bridge into a television series for the BBC in 2016.

The second series of Fleabag premiered in spring 2019, earning 11 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and winning in three categories, followed by a sold-out reprisal of the stage show at Wyndham’s Theatre in London.

Waller-Bridge has also earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations as the writer and showrunner of the first series of BBC America’s celebrated Killing Eve. Waller-Bridge serves as an executive producer on the second and third series of the programme.

Deborah Frances-White is a comedian and writer, best known for her podcast The Guilty Feminist, which has had over 50 million downloads in under three years. She has toured the show internationally.
