Part of Nile Rodgers' Meltdown

Meet Brazil’s biggest ever global pop star and the leading artist of a new generation of Latin American music.

Since rocketing to fame in Brazil six years ago with her self-titled debut, Anitta has racked up more than 3.5 billion YouTube views and been named the world’s 15th most influential artist on social media.

Currently recording her first completely English-speaking album, Anitta is well on her way to becoming a global superstar.

Her first trilingual album, Kisses, released this April, featured hip-hop performers including Swae Lee, Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso and Ludmilla, and Latin music stars Becky G, Prince Royce, DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz on tracks in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Support comes from DJ MistaJam, with a disco and boogie set to get you dancing in the aisles. DJ Khriz opens the show.

Anitta has released four hit albums with Warner Music, achieved unprecedented national airplay and digital streaming, and won many of her country’s most important music awards.

She boasts the largest social media following of any woman in Brazil, with just under 40 million Instagram followers and more than 12 million YouTube subscribers.

In 2016, she sang with Brazilian singers Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games opening ceremony, and with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli at his concerts in Brazil.

She has won Best Brazilian Artist (twice) and Best Latin Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and collaborated with Major Lazer, J Balvin, Alesso, Poo Bear and Maluma.

Her intoxicating mix of funk carioca, reggaeton, and fizzy dance-pop has made her a household name.
