Discover Literature

Part of Schools

Kick off your summer reading challenges in a day of interactive literature workshops for primary schools.

In a day of artist-led workshops and performances, explore what literature can be outside the classroom – from spoken word poetry slams to live readings, storytelling to writing games.

Pupils have the opportunity to work directly with our literary artists and boost their confidence and enthusiasm for all things literature before they depart for their summer holiday reading.

Southbank Centre’s Discover Literature days aim to inspire and support children to pursue their own creative passions through interactive performances and workshops with some of our favourite literary artists.
