A Homage to Razz

Celebrate the life of poet and musician Razz, guardian of Survivors’ Poetry, in an evening of readings and tribute.

From 1991 until his death in April 2018, Razz inspired, nurtured and cared for the spirits and creativity of thousands of Survivor poets, gathering all to form the Survivors’ Poetry tribe.

Gather to remember and pay tribute to Razz’s life’s work and the legacy he has left with all of us – the gift of poetry and performance.

Eight Survivors’ Poetry poets closely connected with Razz perform a concoction of Razz’s work and their own to pay homage to the legacy he left to us all: Simon Jenner, Frank Banga, Dave Russell, Jessica Lawrence, Debbie McNamara, George Tahta, Colin Hambrook, Wendy Young and MC Cina Rama.

Survivors’ Poetry is a survivor-led arts group coordinating artistic activities, using poetry to make connections between creativity and mental health.
