Radiant Children

Part of Nile Rodgers' Meltdown

Brimming with grit and gloss, the transatlantic trio effortlessly blends R&B, soul, funk and jazz.

Radiant Children burst onto the scene last year with the release of debut single ‘Life’s a B*tch’, accompanied by a Matthew Castellanos visual.

The London-based band quickly gained momentum with their infectious melodies and captivating lyrics, which captured the attention of the likes of MTV, Hunger and Clash Magazine.

The single was picked up by writer, actor and director Issa Rae who included it in the opening episode of her HBO show Insecure.

TRYIN’, the band’s debut EP, is steeped in nostalgia and old-school rhythms while still confidently modern – all executed with appreciation, precision and nuance.

Radiant Children take a wide angle view of music, counting among their influences the hip-hop infused croon of Anderson .Paak and the rebellious, electric-blues attitude of Charles Bradley.

In a world where cynicism rules, the woozy synth stabs, wandering basslines and whip-crack handclaps of Radiant Children are just the breath of fresh air we need
Meet the transatlantic trio making smooth, soulful R&B that will warm your soul and make everything feel better
