The Lion King

A small lion just can’t wait to be king in the original blockbuster Disney musical, screened inside our Winter Pop-up Cinema.

Lioncub Simba is thrilled to know that when he grows up, he’ll be ruler of the jungle.

But his world is turned upside down when his uncle Scar plots to steal the throne from his father Mufasa, by any means necessary.

Simba faces danger and finds new friends as he journeys towards adulthood and learns how to make his father proud.

Released in 1994, The Lion King was a cinematic phenomenon, featuring an enduring soundtrack by Tim Rice and Elton John.

This year, the photorealistic CGI version captured the imagination of audiences young and old, 25 years after the film’s original release.

Follow Simba’s story at our pop-up cinema inside our Circus Bar tent, with snacks available throughout the screening.
