New Year’s Day Ceilidh with Cut A Shine

Part of Winter

A rip-roaring, thigh-slapping, pavement-stomping, heart-thumping, blood-pumping ceilidh for the whole family welcomes the new year.

While the banjo and the fiddle set the tone, the callers instruct you through do-si-dos and strip the willows until everyone’s on the floor!

Cut A Shine are a London-based troupe of traditional musicians, dynamic ceilidh dancers and champion callers determined to spread the word that the hoedown is a’happening.

From Hoxton to Humberside, Cut A Shine are putting ceilidh dance back on the map – whether at sell-out London ceilidh dances or barn dances at top summer festivals, including Bestival and Port Eliot Festival.
