Dirty Dancing

Part of Winter Pop-up Cinema

Nobody puts Baby in a corner at a screening of the 1987 coming-of-age film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.

In a tale of political awakening, star-crossed love, and carrying a watermelon, 17-year-old Baby (Grey) is on a family holiday at a resort in the Catskills.

Things hot up when Baby’s taken to a secret dance party with the entertainment staff on the resort and locks eyes, and hips, with dance instructor Johnny, played smoulderingly by Swayze.

The pair soon become more than dance partners, but when Baby’s father finds out about their relationship he tries to forbid it – can they smash the class divide and come together for a final performance?

The screening takes place in our Winter Pop-up Cinema, with snacks and refreshments available throughout the film from the Circus Bar next door.
