Meet tragic heroine Draupadi from the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata, in a fantastical dance production.

Said to be born of fire, Draupadi led a life full of incident and drama. The production depicts key moments in her story from the perspective of the divinity Krishna.

Abhinava Dance Company are one of India’s most popular and cutting-edge production houses, performing for over 25 years to more than seven million people across five continents.

The company was founded by couple Nirupama and Rajendra, who are involved as dancers, choreographers, artistic directors and producers, and showcases a variety of Indian dance forms.
