Crossing Boundaries

Traverse cultures at a reading from UK-based poets of East Asian heritages and identities, featuring Natalie Linh Bolderston, L Kiew, Jennifer Lee Tsai, Jennifer Wong, Nina Mingya Powles and Jay G Ying.

The poets read from their recent work as well as responding to existing work contained in the National Poetry Library.

Their poetry explores themes of multilingualism, identity, translation and migration, often moving between English and their other languages.

Actor, director and writer David Tse Ka-Shing, gives an introductory talk on East Asian visibility and representation in British culture before the poets read from their work.
