Leaving the City: Poets on Trees

Part of Among the Trees

Ten poets including Anna Selby, L Kiew, Mona Arshi and Seán Hewitt come together in Hayward Gallery to present poems in response to our exhibition Among the Trees.

Hear the specially commissioned poems read aloud by the poets themselves in different locations throughout the gallery, as you move around the exhibition at your own pace, taking in the artworks.

The exhibition is an evocative 50-year survey of artworks that take trees as a point of departure to engage with a wide range of concerns.

Among the Trees provokes us to develop new perspectives and ways of thinking about how we represent and conceive of this most familiar object.
