Visual Poetry for the 21st Century

German and British concrete poets come together to present new collaborations and visual poetry films.

The evening features performances from German poets including Michael Lentz and Angelika Janz, alongside Kimberly Campanello, Barrie Tullett, Robert Montgomery, Victoria Bean and SJ Fowler.

This event, hosted by National Poetry Librarian Chris McCabe, celebrates the influence of the concrete poetry movement of the 1950s and 1960s on a new generation.

Uncover the textual, visual and kinetic potential of poetry with some of Europe's most innovative and brilliant poet-performers, poet-artists and poet-collaborators.

This event is part of European Poetry Festival 2020 and follows a dedicated festival in Munich's Lyrik Kabinett, who support the event alongside The British Council and Goethe Institut UK.
