Uncovering Classics: Beethoven 9

Part of Beethoven 250

This event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Follow local secondary school students on an exploration of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at a free screening of a short film.

As part of the Beyond Beethoven 9 project, our Creative Learning team worked with students from Dunraven Secondary School as they got to know Beethoven’s final symphony.

The film shows the students encountering artists and exploring key themes to discover what the piece means for them today.

This is one of our events linked to conductor Marin Alsop’s Beyond Beethoven 9 project, which reimagines the Ninth Symphony.

Part of the global project All Together: A Global Ode to Joy.
