Film Scores Live

In Film Scores Live, cinematic music emerges from the background and becomes the star for a night. Famous soundtracks are brought to life by some of the finest orchestras around.

Be swept away by 1940s romance Brief Encounter, accompanied by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and see Hitchcock classic Psycho made all the more spine-tingling by a live performance of its chilling score.

Find yourself glued to the edge of your seat by two other Hitchcock thrillers, as the suspense of The Lodger and Vertigo is heightened by live renditions of each film’s haunting soundtrack.

The series also features two gems of modern cinema. Hear Jonny Greenwood’s fraught and evocatively discordant score for There Will Be Blood, and Mica Levi’s otherworldly music for the enigmatic Scarlett Johansson film Under the Skin.

Join us as we shine a spotlight on some of cinema’s most unforgettable soundtracks.
