International Chamber Music Series

The International Chamber Music Series brings together some of the most exciting musical collaborations the world over.

Our 2018/19 season continues with pianists Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich, who bring the music of Stockhausen to life; Lawrence Power and Pavel Kolesnikov delighting with an all-Brahms programme; and two of the finest string quartets from around the world: the Artemis Quartet and the Belcea Quartet.

In 2018/19, immerse yourself in Bridget Riley's pulsating visual world with two concerts performed within the Hayward Gallery's blockbuster retrospective of her artwork, featuring the Colin Currie Group performing Steve Reich, and a mix of old and new works for guitar by Sean Shibe. You can also enjoy rising star Sheku Kanneh-Mason performing cello duets with Guy Johnston; Anne-Sophie Mutter filling Royal Festival Hall with the sounds of Beethoven; and new music from the fearless and virtuosic JACK Quartet – plus many more vibrant musical experiences.

The joy here was the sense of communion between the visibly enthused performers and a beaming audience high on hypnotic percussion
