St John's Smith Square
While Queen Elizabeth Hall continues to be refurbished, a number of performances in our Classical Season 2016/17 are taking place at St John’s Smith Square.
Get a new perspective on renowned artists, such as Jordi Savall, performing early music on period instruments with Le Concert des Nations. See at close hand the dazzling piano skills of Benjamin Grosvenor, Ingolf Wunder and Yulianna Avdeeva.
Our resident orchestras are also giving concerts at St John’s Smith Square: London Sinfonietta brings Beat Furrer’s FAMA, a modern masterpiece of sound theatre that has wowed audiences throughout Europe, while the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment celebrates the music of Bach and Méhul.
We hope to see you across the river in Westminster for intimate concerts in a venue renowned for its wonderful architecture and atmosphere.
