Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg

Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg is an artist examining the changing relationship between people, nature and technology. Working across sculpture, installation, living gardens and digital tools, her works include recreating the dawn chorus using artificial intelligence, reconstructing the smell of extinct flowers and simulating the wilding of Mars over a million years. In 2023, she won the European Commission’s S+T+ARTS Grand Prize for Pollinator Pathmaker, an algorithmic living artwork supporting pollinators, with editions planted at the Eden Project, Serpentine London, and Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.

Ginsberg holds a PhD from the Royal College of Art and is a resident at Somerset House Studios. Her work appears in major museum collections, and recent commissions include Google’s Gradient Canopy, London’s Design Museum and Oxford’s new Canalside Park.
