Eva Branscome

Eva Branscome is Professor of Architecture and Cultural Heritage at UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture. Her current research centres on difficult and contested heritage, examining architecture’s complicity with social injustice. She co-organised the 2023 UCL/SAHGB conference ‘Constructing Coloniality: British Imperialism and the Built Environment’. In 2024, she co-led the groundbreaking Ongoing and Emerging Discourses conference at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She is now co-organising the AFRAUHN NAIROBI event for the African continent’s first Architecture Biennale.
