George Szirtes

George Szirtes’ 12th book of poems, Reel (2004), won the TS Eliot Prize and he has since been nominated twice more. His memoir, The Photographer at Sixteen received the James Tait Black Prize in 2020. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and was awarded the King’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2024.
