The Royal Festival Hall is closed on Thursday 3 September, re-opening at 5pm to ticket holders only for Letters Live at 7.30pm. The National Poetry Library remains open with entry via the Royal Festival Hall Artists’ Entrance.

Iman Amrani is an award-winning journalist, producer and writer. She has worked extensively for The Guardian, Al Jazeera English and Channel 4, covering international and domestic stories about race, culture and gender. She lives on the coast in Ramsgate with her twin toddlers and two cats.
