Jacqueline Crooks

Jacqueline Crooks grew up in 1970s and 1980s Southall. Her debut novel, Fire Rush, won the PEN America Open Book Award and Paul Torday Memorial Prize. The Jamaican-born British writer’s short stories, including the collection The Ice Migration, have been nominated for the Orwell Prize, Wasafiri New Writing Prize, and BBC National Short Story Award.
