The Royal Festival Hall is closed on Thursday 3 September, re-opening at 5pm to ticket holders only for Letters Live at 7.30pm. The National Poetry Library remains open with entry via the Royal Festival Hall Artists’ Entrance.

Khalid Abdalla

Khalid Abdalla is an actor, producer, writer and film-maker. He is known for performances in The Crown, The Kite Runner, United 93 and Green Zone. He recently appeared in The Day of the Jackal, and in Mnemonic at the National Theatre. He produced and starred in In the Last Days of the City, in Tala Hadid’s The Narrow Frame of Midnight, and Jehane Noujaim’s Oscar-nominated documentary The Square. Abdalla is a founding member of Cimatheque, Zero Production and Mosireen and an Honorary Fellow of Queens’ College Cambridge. Cairo and London are his two cities.
