Kinetika Bloco

An inspiring youth arts performance and leadership charity, Kinetika Bloco create a new British carnival sound with a decidedly London edge.

Since 2000 Kinetika Bloco has provided a space for young people to discover their creativity, develop their skills and leadership, and make something amazing together as part of the group’s summer schools, creative workshops  and large-scale public performances.

Now one of our Resident Organisations, Kinetika Bloco continue to develop a consistent and proven talent pathway for young artists that empowers them to not only to grow creatively and take the lead within Kinetika Bloco, but also the wider sector.  

Many of Kinetika Bloco’s members have gone on to become rising stars of the UK music scene, and you’ll find their graduates in acclaimed bands including Mercury-nominated Sons of Kemet, BRIT winning Ezra Collective, Steam Down, The Banger Factory, Kokoroko and Oreglo; and performing with alongside artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Kano, Little Simz, Burna Boy and Solange Knowles.
