Luke Mayhew

Luke Mayhew joined the board of the Southbank Centre in 2017, and chaired the Finance and Audit and the Covid Recovery Committees before becoming Deputy Chair in 2021. He stepped down from that role in 2025.

Luke has worked in multiple senior roles across the travel and retail sectors, including 13 years as a director of John Lewis Partnership. He has held board roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, DFS, WHSmith, Pets at Home and Brambles, and was chairman of the British Retail Consortium.

Over the past 20 years, Luke has been a trustee of BBC Children in Need and the National Youth Orchestra. He also sat on the Tate Enterprises board.
