Lynne Shamwana

Lynne Shamwana is a chartered accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

She is currently a non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee at Antin Infrastructure Partners and a non-executive director and chair of the Audit Committee of the West Brom Building Society. She was previously chief financial officer of Virgin Care. She has held a variety of senior finance and management roles at Christie’s, Centrica, British Gas, Goldfish Bank and Alliance & Leicester.

Shamwana was an independent member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Department for Work & Pensions and chair of the Women’s Development Board of the Microloan Foundation Charity.
