MoYah

MoYah is an award-winning Afrofusion rapper, artistic activist, educator, creative producer and public speaker, whose work centres on empowering underrepresented communities at the intersection of music, education, migration and environmentalism. Born during the Mozambican civil war, MoYah fled his homeland as a political refugee, later finding grounding in the diverse musical influences of his parents and the transformative power of hip-hop while growing up in Lisbon. His music blends hard-hitting lyricism with high-energy Afrofusion, rap and alternative sounds, creating performances that are both powerful and deeply engaging.
