Oliver Robertson

Oliver Robertson is a poet and spoken word artist from Wellpark in Glasgow’s East End. He was selected for the BBC Words First scheme in 2020 and since then has taken his words to new audiences across the country with performances at Eden and Push the Boat Out festivals in 2022, and 2023’s Hidden Door festival.

2023 also saw Roberston become the inaugural Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awardee for Spoken Word. His writing is centered around experiences of growing up in the East End of Glasgow.
